Rapidstick™ Zero 8577Z Thread Sealant
Rapidstick™ Zero 8577Z Thread Sealant (WRAS Approved for Potable Water) is a medium strength, medium viscosity anaerobic containing PTFE, ideally suited to most hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, water and gas connections of all metal types, including stainless steel, aluminium, and galvanised metals. It provides an instant, low pressure seal of up to 150 psi, reaching its highest pressure resistance of 10,000 psi after cure, while formulated to offer a controlled low to medium break strength when component disassembly is required.
8577Z has excellent lubricating properties which prevent galling on pipes and fittings during assembly, and will neither creep, shrink, migrate, or block systems. It is widely used for industrial applications involving chemical processing, petroleum refinement, pulp/paper, textile, and waste treatment, utilities/power generation, as well as marine, automotive, and gas industries.
