Rapidstick™ Zero 8243Z Threadlocker
Rapidstick™ Zero 8243Z Threadlocker is a fast curing, non-permanent, oil tolerant anaerobic with medium strength and excellent temperature and solvent resistance once cured. It bonds, seals, and locks metal threaded fasteners of all types, including less active materials such as stainless steel and plated parts.
8243Z is ideal for fasteners with diameters between 6mm to 20mm (1/4″ to 3/4″), is highly resistant to heat, vibrations, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals, and is well suited to a wide variety of applications, including:
– Securing conveyor roller bolts
– Locking bearing cover cap screws
– Replacing lock washers and plastic inserts
– Locking machine tool access bolts
– Locking and sealing gear box and drive shaft bolts
